FAQs

What does Fallow Studio do?

We work at the intersection of architecture and furniture, offering a unique combination of research, design, and fabrication to create affordable, bespoke solutions to transform interior spaces.

Who do you work with?

Commercial and domestic clients, architects/designers, contractors, and independent furniture makers - anyone needing imaginative design solutions, accurate representation, and high-tolerance fabrication.

Where are you based, and what areas do you cover?

We’re based in London and work with clients across London and the South East.

How do I start a project / request a quote?

Send sketches, drawings, or photos to info@fallowstudio.com and we’ll come back with any questions, then a tailored quote and timeline.

What CAD deliverables do you provide?

Accurate 3D models and production-ready 2D drawings, including DXF exports, panel lists, dimensioned shop drawings, and assemblies modelled for manufacture.

Do you offer interior/ joinery visualisations?

Yes - photoreal renders, material studies, and staged room imagery to help clients visualise joinery in a space (also useful for approvals and marketing).

What CNC fabrication support do you offer?

Precision CNC cutting with nesting, toolpath prep and sheet handling - suited to prototypes, small-batch production, and larger runs of fitted joinery parts.

Can you handle finishing and assembly too?

Yes - full finishing and assembly are available, and we can arrange installation for you to take projects from concept through to installation.

How does your CNC cutting pricing work?

Pricing is job dependent but typically per sheet (e.g., plywood/MDF) and includes CAD drawings of parts, nesting, file/machine setup, and labelling of parts. We can advise on ways to keep costs down during fabrication. Get in touch for a quote.

Is there a minimum charge?

Whether design only, fabrication only, or the full package, the minimum job charge is £500.

What’s your approach to sustainability?

We aim to make only when needed (on-demand), reduce waste wherever possible, prioritise timber and other natural materials, and create durable solutions that are designed for disassembly and reuse.

What materials do you like working with?

We focus on sheet-based products (FSC-certified timber and alternative natural or recycled materials). We’re always on the lookout for new regenerative and recycled materials, so if you are a product supplier looking for a collaboration, feel free to get in touch.
